Our Heavenly Focus

As we allow ourselves to be held in the gaze, we become focussed on the eternal, our lives shaped for a Kingdom lifestyle and the present a mere step to all that the future holds for us. We become His dream realised here on the earth as we step into the very place ordained for us ahead of time. Walking step by step in tune with Him, transfixed on our heavenly journey. Here we take hold of all that He has planned. Woven into eternity, as we become containers for His glory and conduits for salvation.

“When your heart is open the light floods in. When your heart is hard and closed, the light cannot penetrate and darkness takes its place.” Luke 11:34 (TPT) Footnote says, “The darkness is formed by lies and opinions that blind us.”

Let’s not look away to become hardened by our pain, the stress and pressures or unanswered prayers that cause us to stumble. Our weariness or self-effort is nothing compared to our surrender to His powerful Presence within us, causing us to rise up as His beloved. No feeling can supersede the physical reality of Christ’s sacrifice to restore us to our rightful place. No lie can stand against the truth! The unfolding plan of eternity is bigger than our current circumstances or past pain; therefore, we rejoice in the faithfulness and goodness of God.

Christ looks for our desire to experience that eye-to-eye contact. He is the lifter of our heads should we falter in our adoring gaze of Him. We find as we open our hearts we become entwined. We choose gratitude and praise as we’re elevated again into the holy of holies to revel in the majesty of our King.

Now we choose to step into the Spirit’s empowering, inclining our ear to His wisdom. We discard the despair of hope deferred, and the pain of unmet needs or pressing circumstances. We agree that we are dearly loved by the Father, who satisfies us with Himself.
