Glorious Christ Within

“Embrace the glorious Christ within as your new life and live in union with him!” Ephesians 4:24 (TPT)

Can we allow the Spirit of the Living God to take His place on the throne within our lives, allowing Him to direct our steps, to challenge our thoughts and to soothe our emotions? To guide us in our day by day, so that we step into peace and grace, faith and love. As we allow His Spirit to be housed within us, He grows His attributes within our nature so that we can step into our true likeness as God’s beloved children.

When we slip back or are not our best selves, we return, placing our hand in His and listen for His voice within. We let go of any lingering insecurity and lean into Him. Fear of man and praise of man, our circumstances, and our losses no longer define who we are or how we respond to life around us.

His voice whispers and sings over our hearts and minds. Roaring over our past, our successes and failures. The victory song of who we truly are is heard, spilling out from our words and actions. The roar resounding out, “Innocent, purified, holy, righteous, redeemed, restored, and beloved.” This dictates our new life in Him. 

We allow this opera to be heard from within us, pouring out so that we can be the overflow of Jesus to all.
