Entering the Faith-Rest Life

We have the opportunity to live here, as we witness the infilling of His peace by trusting Him completely. As we allow ourselves to confidently embrace it, this promise is unwrapped within our lives, becoming our everyday reality.

We receive this gift by relying on Holy Spirit to empower us to stand in our choice to believe. He encourages us to step into it, fully trusting in who God says He is, and fulfils His promises. We agree that He knows all things and watch as He weaves every aspect of our lives into perfect harmony with His plan for us from within the intimacy of our shared hearts. We wake every morning with the choice to step into this divine rest releasing all to His care. To nourish our hearts, bringing peace and safety in all things, we simply sit inside His truth, no longer resting on the situation, or even the answer not delivered or looking different to the hoped for outcome.

We lay every detail of our lives on His lap and watch as He proves Himself true to His word. We silence our own arguments to the contrary, and receive the truth that a full and complete rest is waiting for us to continually experience, not as an oasis in the storm, but as a way of life. He offers us whispers of hope and wisdom, as we choose to turn toward Him, waiting for His presence within, to empower us to let go of self, and accept the truth that this is our reality despite all circumstances. We are empowered to quietly trust amidst the noise and chaos that may surround us. “We come freely and boldly to where love is enthroned to receive mercy’s kiss and discover the grace we urgently need to strengthen us in our weakness.” Hebrews 4:16 (TPT)

We surrender to this truth as we look to Jesus as the fulfilment of all God’s words spoken out throughout the ages and simply let Him lead us in. Every emotion and dark thought is silenced in His divine presence - as He sweeps in with His Peace, Hope and Love. We sit in restful-joy and hope-filled contentment, overwhelmed in the love filled sanctuary of our God. This is the place destined for all human hearts to dwell. It’s here that Jesus urges us to call back every place within our hearts and minds to rest in peace. He offers us this faith-rest life to simply trust, to be still in His presence as we believe in the miraculous God of the impossible.

Today is the day that we can choose to enter into this place of rest. Not that it's a once in a lifetime offer that will be gone tomorrow, but that He's making it clear that it's now, whether our now is tomorrow or next year, God consistently calls us to this faith-rest life.
