Strength in Weakness

We discover as we relinquish control that Holy Spirit illuminates the answers we have been searching for. He shares with us His empowering grace and perfect peace to follow where He leads.

Reading the scriptures, we allow the words to penetrate our belief systems, so that the truth becomes our physical reality. As we choose to believe, Holy Spirit infuses us with faith to take hold of this truth, claiming it as ours in Christ!

Jesus offers us a revelation of Himself as we simply sit in wonder of who He is. We take time to embrace the glorious Christ within, pondering and allowing our emotions to experience His true nature. In this place of revelation, we experience His light shining in the shadowy place of doubt and fear, empowering us to rise up. We lean on Him more completely. Therein is our strength and we decree, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” 2Corinthians 12:9 (KJV)

We agree with Paul that “His strength is made perfect in our weakness.” Philippians 4:13 (KJV)

We find ourselves in deeper, our experience fuller, and this leads to not only an understanding, but a deep knowing within of who He truly is. Whatever attribute we have engaged with in that place now becomes part of our union with Him. It becomes a part of who we are now too!

Never again will we be bullied by shame in our weakness, or our lack of ability, for we have opened the door deeper still to Him.

He comes to us in abounding strength - governing and reigning within us as we surrender and say “yes” to His Lordship. He teaches us to sit in truth, to see the light and to speak it over the shadows within and around us. Blissful joy and restful companionship replace our former fears or doubts. Pain is replaced by contentment and perfect peace that guards our most vulnerable places. This is the God of comfort and the King of Kindness – Our Kinsman Redeemer watering our desert places.

We observe that our weakness and failure now display the hallmarks of the redemption of Christ within us, and so we shine with hope. This makes the way for others to find the victory we now enjoy for themselves!

In triumph we arise and shine revealing the light within us.
